What it is: Ling remembers how to talk, read and write in his native language! It's not a super useful skill, but it's one that has a certain amount of impact for Ling as it's a connection to Xing. Also Xingese is basically faux-chinese and while I figure there are some differences, it's probably recognizable enough that people who know anything of the language would be able to tell.
